Flux Balance Analysis (FBA) had shown to be optimal to quantify the metabolic rate of cells and microorganisms. Its fundamentals are based on two key points: On one hand, metabolic processes can be depicted as two groups of entities that connect each other (Reactions and Associated metabolites); on the other hand, the dynamics in these connections came up from a series of coupled equations feasible to be solved under several constrictions of the environment.
